For larger buildings a concrete foundation supports the load of the entire building. A good-quality foundation made of concrete will keep your Garden House safe and secure from outside forces.
Concrete is the best solution for a reliable foundation, because it is very strong, long-lasting, stable and resistant to insect and water damage.
If you intend to use your new garden building all year round then we would recommend that the roof and floor be installed to make the building more energy efficient and reduce heat loss. Roof insulation will also keep the building cooler in the hot summer months and reduce overheating.
To give your new garden building better thermal insulation properties, we provide 25mm insulation boards, laths and fixings to insulate your cabin floor. For the roof, we have chosen a 25mm insulation board, 12mm OSB boards, and an 18x70 lath mounted on the roof’s perimeter. Proper insulation helps make a seasonal building as a garden room usable throughout the year. This is a must for garden offices, annexes, or other rooms that need to be used beyond the summer. Purchasing Additional "Insulation Package" product and also buying "Installation Service" additional product, our team will fit the insulation package for free. Individually purchasing "Insulation Package" does not conclude fitting!
Our garden buildings and saunas have no roof covering material included as standard. But you can choose a roof covering of your preference and add it to your shopping cart!
Right now we have two roof covering options available for flat rooves. The extra-strong bitumen roofing felt is a cost-effective and durable solution that helps keep the main construction dry and safe from rotting. The EPDM roof is an extremely durable synthetic rubber roofing membrane that is used as a covering for flat and sloped roof buildings around the world.
If you choose not to buy a roof covering from us, we strongly advise you to cover the roof with any other material of your preference, because the wooden roof boards by themselves are not enough to keep your garden building safe and keep the warranty valid.
If you also purchase the "Assembly" additional product, then our team will install the roof cover for free.

For real luxury, our installers can also install laminate flooring in addition to the standard timber floor. Laminate is installed on top of a 6mm fibre tile underlay to give a high quality feel.
